2020 was definitely not an easy year but they say that there is always a silver lining and so we set out on a quest to find it…. somewhere between the solitude and the outside safe gatherings came the idea of Oak & Smoke. Born out of our love of the great outdoors, a renewed passion for nature and the return of an appreciation of the simple things! Warmed by the fire pit, we seemed to be able to put the world to rights – great conversation flowed {as did the wine} and the food just seemed to taste better. We wanted to create a different type of space and a different type of food – taking the essence of what we do well in The Chester Fields {real food & local produce} but stripping it back to the simple pleasures.
Whilst Oak & Smoke is only in its infancy and the world is still in a place of uncertainity, it will be focused on the take away and collection service but you can expect magical gatherings under the stars when the world gets back on its feet.
